The aim of this site , is to pass on to you,  the information and attitude of life  that helped Nathan and us, his parents; To encourage you, motivate you, to Gird you up, help you find the will to take control, to not just accept probabily but to search  for possibilities, like we did. We learned that you don't have to be a health professional to explore  what is available?, where?, how? and why?. But You need a starting point and the determination to say ,'This is MY life, My  fight and I will use all I can find in this battle'.

20th March 2001 began the battle of our lives. Our 18 year old son, Nathan was diagnosed with  Glioblastoma Multiforme, a very aggressive Brain Tumour. He initially had 13 months of intensive treatment, and had 4  clear MRI scans. Then, 6 months after finishing treatment, the tumour returned. Not to the original site, but to a different area of the brain, and sadly, he Passed away on 26th February 2003. During   at least 16 months of having Glioblastoma, Nathan had excellent quality of life, and continued to  work and socialise as normal. We feel sure that his positive outlook and determination played a big part in his staying so well. Also, we kept his determination alive by constantly exploring new treatments, having an armery which kept us one step ahead and  gave us all such hope and helped us to  continue.
